Cancellation policy

• Before the technician is dispatched — free. Just tap “Cancel this booking” on the track page.
• After dispatch, before arrival — free in most cases. The technician may waive any visit fee if they hadn't left yet.
• After the technician arrives, before service starts — a small visiting / inspection fee may apply (typically ₹199), recorded by the technician on completion.
• After service has started (start-OTP verified) — you can no longer cancel from the app. The technician closes the booking with the actual work done and you pay only for that.

1. Open the track page (/track) or your booking from My bookings.
2. Tap Cancel this booking.
3. Add an optional reason and confirm. We log the cancellation and inform the technician automatically.

A technician may cancel if they can't safely complete the job (wrong tools, vehicle inaccessible, you ask for work outside the booked scope, safety concern). When this happens:

• If no work or inspection was performed, you owe nothing.
• If they performed an inspection and confirmed a scope mismatch, a visiting fee may apply — typically ₹199, capped at the original booked total.

If the technician discovers a different problem (e.g. you booked battery replacement but the actual fault is the alternator), they'll explain it and quote a revised price. You can:

• Agree to the revised scope — service proceeds; you pay the revised amount.
• Decline — the booking closes with only a visiting fee (if applicable). You're free to book the right service separately.

The receipt always reflects what was actually performed, not what was originally booked.

If you cancelled before paying, no refund is needed. If you paid online and the cancellation results in a partial settlement (e.g. visiting fee only), we refund the balance to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
